“A Quick Sketch of the Fundamental Determinants of the Economy Today” is a wonderful set of slides about how the economic crisis happened, and proposes some sensible solutions. I thought this quote was great:
A Learning Strategy for Mission Critical Action Under Uncertainty: 1. Acknowledge our ignorance. (i.e. “We simply do not know. Let’s find out.â€) Scientists are expected to say this; Elected officials & civil servants are ridiculed if they say this.
